James John Midwinter is a British artist living and working in Cornwall.
His work is characterised by a minimalist approach to his subject matter, often using a monochromatic or limited palette of closely related colours.
Deeply influenced by the culture and atmosphere of Cornwall and the Cornish coast, James’ practice spans drawing, painting, photography and filmmaking.
