Nowhere 20 is the result of a collaboration with renowned East London print house Nelly Duff.
Situated on the iconic Columbia Road in Hackney this east-end institution have for over a decade been combining their knowledge of traditional and innovative printing techniques with artists all over to world to publish high quality editions.
This print is a part of my ‘Nowhere’ series of images, compositions which strip back beach scenes to a calming minimalism.
What I especially love are the details that Nelly Duff have brought to the prints. They have hand screenprinted a subtle gloss varnish onto each of the surfers, and deckled the edges of these stunning flatbed prints. This really gives an extra layer of richness to the work.
